The first step in solving a problem is understanding what’s causing it. I’ll start by developing a clear understanding of the specifics of your situation, daily routines, parenting values and style. There are numerous techniques but, to be successful, we have to find the one that will work best for your specific circumstances.
Together, we’ll develop a plan specifically tailored to your set of circumstances using evidenced based behavioral procedures. It only works if the plan is directly aligned with the findings from your assessment. Using a technique without understanding what’s causing the behavior can just make it worse.
Even the best plan can fail without the right execution. My job is to help you do it right the first time. I’ll guide you through all of the critical steps to success.
If necessary, we’ll refine and adjust. We’ll evaluate what’s working, what’s not and what changes are needed. A Behavior Analyst is a clinician, trained to implement behavioral procedures in the real world. That requires a large toolbox and a clear understanding of the difference between theory and reality.
